1.4.1-Alpha-1 (High-End U1)

I tried the 1.4.1 alpha and lyrion music server won't launch with squeeze lite. It was working fine with 1.4.0. I'm using the amd64 version.

Can you generate a diagnostics file and send it over? One to test that feature is still working, and second is so I can grab your config database and try to replicate the problem here. Thanks.

I generated the diagnostic file but Gmail won't let me attach it. It keeps failing. I tried zipping it but that didn't work either. Is there an alternative?

Not yet.. Been working on infrastructure past few days tweaking some security things - automatically ban bot IPs and so on.. 

Biggest challenge (and most time spent) was to swap the web server from something called apache2 to another thing called nginx for this forum. Wish I can just swap the forum software but alas that will reset everybody's password which I don't really want to do at this stage.

Also, mp3 will still be broken in 1.4.1.. Yet to look into that..

Look, pals.  Last night I installed upmpdcli thru SnakeOil webui in both RPi 5 and NUC (running Roon server).  The service in RPi took many many minutes to show up in mconnect and Bubble UPnp (both are android upnp controller app).  And even after chosen that RPi 5, both apps can't send music to my RPi.  For the NUC, the upnp service didn't show up at all.  I've rebooted them several times for this.  And, right, it's my bad that I forgot to take the screen shot for the app error message.  

I've used upmpdclli for a while in few years ago.  I remember by that time, I can use mconnect to stream Qobuz to SnakeOil (AMD64 PC) seamlessly without any hiccup.  Or did I miss something in these years?

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Alright, I think I've figured out the solution.  Just like installing Roon softwares, I need to install it in putty.  Then it just work fine.

What happens if you SSH to your snakeoil machine, and run

Is LMS running again if you do that? i.e. I want to know if LMS itself is the problem, or the way Snakeoil starting LMS being the issue.

Hey Agent Kith I tried it and it starts LMS now. I think it's the way snakeoil starts LMS. I've also checked the status of LMS & here's the results:

Hey Agent Kith I tried it and it starts LMS now. I think it's the way snakeoil starts LMS. I've also checked the status of LMS & here's the results:

I'm looking into this right now atm, And do notice LMS sometimes don't start. Which is strange. But clicking on "SAVE" in players seems to work. Use that as a workaround if you have a problem. I have also changed the startup commands changing it from service to systemctl. Hopefully that will resolve it.

3 tickets left before 1.4.1 is final.. I guess not going to release another test release, just going to wing it.

I attempted to run the commands you posted but the startup sequence never gets to a command prompt. It stops here. This did not happen in previous versions. I was always able to login then enter commands.  However, the snakeoilos web app still launches and I can change music players. Saving the player has No effect on my lms non starting problem.
