Snakeoil 1.2.6 Alpha 1

Just an update, I can't install Ubuntu Studio 22.04 this afternoon.  It kept stopping at 78%.  I've tried several times but got no luck.  I guess it's the server problem, right?  

Looks like it. During the install configuration, is there a check box that says "Check/Install updates" or something similar? Turning that option off might get things rolling further.

Further update, 1.2.6 Alpha 1 doesn't work with Ubuntu 22.04.  As I still can't install Ubuntu Studio 22.04, I can't test FW 1.2.6 Alpha 1 on it.  I'll set up SnakeOil on Ubuntu Studio 20.04 at the moment and wait for next FW release to test on 22.04 again.

When you say doesn't work, can you describe which aspect?

Update: 1.2.6 Alpha 1 can't mount neither local HD nor NAS in newly installed Snakeoil on Ubuntu Studio 20.04.  Downgrading to 1.2.5 can mount both as normal.

Hmmm, that's a weird one. Any red box pop up on the right corner when it fails to mount? If yes, what does it say?

1)  Seems there was one, let me check in these days
2) It showed the same error message (I forgot to take photo)
3) After entered the device, mount point & etc, and pressed "SAVE", nothing came up, just like I didn't press anything.  I pressed ctrl-F5 and still the same.

I'm not sure to be honest, can you SSH to your machine, and CD to that folder, then type 'pwd', and show me the contents? I'll have a look. Is this just the "File browser" section not showing the music? But MPD and LMS still managed to pick it up?

Please ignore. I am not sure what happened, but I reset the share privileges on the NAS, and remounted the folder in SnakeOil and it now works.

Hi, AK, tonight I've tried to install on both Ubuntu 22.04 again and still got no luck.  This I've fully updated Ubuntu before installing.

For the Ubuntu Studio 22.04 installation problem (stuck at somewhere 78% saying the server got no response and etc) mentioned last time, tonight the problem still persist and stopped at same 78%.  There is not an option looks like "install update during copying file" or sort of..... so still can't complete the installation of ubuntu 22.04...  what a strange problem.

Can't get to load the attachments, but I think I know what the problem is.

In UEFI/BIOS, go to CSM and turn off secure boot. That should get install to finish. Let me know how it goes.

Working on releasing an installer. Hopefully that'll be ready by the weekend, but if don't, try the firmware recovery option and see if it works.
