Please let me clarify a bit. I mean I've used these 3 methods, including webui to change the hostname, also tried all 3 methods together. Yet the hostname remains the old one after reboot, not just display. Thanks for your concern.

FYI,
During testing Snakeoil Oil on my Pi 5, I found that if I changed audio output device (including pressed those "apply" "save" buttons), and then "reboot" later, then after reboot the audio output device will be reverted to previous one.
I need to choose "shutdown" to make the change last to next bootup.

I need to choose "shutdown" to make the change last to next bootup. Very likely the changes are not "flushed" to disk... Probably because the media is too slow - microsd?
Going to make a change to force the disk flush before a reboot. This will slow down things slightly but should be a safer option.. This will be implemented in 1.4.4

I'm not sure, it's an U3 A1 class micro SD card. And the old hostname remains not matter how late I reboot.

and in these days as I testing more on Pi5, I found that sometimes in CPUSET it reported no task is running in (user). In fact, even the MPD was playing local file, it still can happen. It's not 100% appearing like that, but many times. Any idea?

Mostly, CPUset works, but sometimes it does not with Squeezelite V2 on AMD, SO 1.4.3 Have been been able to find any consistent pattern. Maybe it is time to rework CPUset to use the official Ubuntu capability?

W.R.T. CPUset, it could be a race condition. Snakeoil will wait 10-15 seconds before moving the processes to the CPU. Wait a minute then reload the page and see the processes are moved. It should and it worked in my setup, but YMMV with other systems.
Will follow @ Snoopy8 suggestion and see if I can improve on this in the next release.

Does SO try to download the most stable version or development version? I haven't investigated further but it seems like Pi takes 9.1 development and AMD is stuck on 9.0.0 ?? Suggest keeping both to latest stable..
