Absolutely.7 That would lower the bar to newcomers and those scared off by the Terminal. SO would be as easy to install as any other audiophile OS for the RPi.
SnakeOil used to have an install like that, but it was a nightmare to maintain kernel updates, drivers etc. for 3 hardware platforms. By using Ubuntu as the base, AK can focus on SnakeOil.

Are both of you suggesting dropping 2 hardware platforms and making SnakeOil Pi only? That is the only way we will get an install image.

If a user is scared of terminal, they should not be using Linux..

What's the point for this post? Asking new and old supporters to leave SO, right?
