cm4安装1.3测试版成功。但安装了roonbridge后，显示成功安装，但无法在播放器选项里显示。

cpuset如何解决，以前在x86 64平台可以解决的。1.3测试版下没有/etc/default/grub这个文件，如何解决！！！

I think I missed Roon stuffs in arm64 bits in the WebApp.. Will fix that in alpha 2... have a few hours before I have to go out again, hopefully can get something up soon... 

This thing where Pi OS uses 64 bit kernel in 32 bit OS is really a big spanner in the works.. I mean had I known this before hand (i.e. start on 32 bookworm before moving on to 64 bit ubuntu) would be a big time saver. But bookworm is not released then. 

Have an interesting observation though. 64 bit kernel just feel faster, somehow everything seems faster and more responsive somehow. I don't really know why.

Apologies for the delay, just very tired and low energy pass few weeks after work. Good news is finally solve some coding challenges at work, bad news is no snakeoil work during the time.

OK. I've installed Ubuntu 64-bit LTS on my RPi 4 2GB twice now.

Installation is good, with multiple sets of downloads, updates and installations as described by @snoopy08. But the RPi doesn't reconnect to the network when I reboot as instructed.



I've done a command line reboot and a pull-the-power reboot.

Hmm.. Can you take a screenshot of your network config? Might have to connect a monitor + keyboard to do so. just run

Sorry for the delay. I can't find my mini-HDMI cable to connect the RPi 4 to a TV (I use an iMac and all my RPis run headless), so I'm going to set up an RPi 3 to see what happens there.

The RPi 3 reconnects to the network with no problems, and the web app is running.  

I'll configure SO for my headphone system and give it a listen as soon as I have the time.

I have no idea why the RPi 4 is not connecting to the same network via the same CAT6 cable. I'll try it again after I've got the RPi 3 playing music. Maybe the RPi 4 will work after Halloween 

I had to leave it a while after Halloween, you'll understand, but the next install rebooted perfectly. I have no idea why the first two attempts didn't work, but now I have Measurements running on an RPi 3 and an RPi 4 2GB.

Not mad, just brave. 

Past few weeks was a blur.. I did mention and have pictures of a Zimaboard... But I can't find it in the house now... That's gonna go Measurements soonish. That is, if I can find it.

I should have a day off this week, clients permitting, so I could take the plunge then. If it doesn't work, I'll have the SD card running happily to fall back on. SD cards have their advantages (possibly).

My RPi 5 may be arriving real soon now.

Is low latency or realtime kernel also available for Ubuntu in Pi?

Being a Roon endpoint, would you please tell the sonic difference between using SnakeOil (installed bridge) and latest Ropieee?  Thank you very much!
