Connecting Spotify to SnakeOil

Despite LMS is much more convenient and eye catching than mpd, the difference in sound is quite clear.  
 
My friend and I still prefer the sound of MPD.  he'll switch to LMS only when he wants to listen Spotify on his system.  And in most of the time he keeps using mpd.

I fully understand, because I was previously picking MPD always!

I was switching between MPD and LMS because of Qobuz. Over time, I noticed that the difference between MPD and LMS have shrunk over the years. Or it could be due to my music preference changing ???  The switch to LMS became permanent when I started using Qobuz a lot more. 

And yes, Material Skin on LMS is eye catching, and probably one of the best music user interfaces that I have used.  It has something that MAFA (for which I thank you for the recommendation) cannot do; the home screen can be personalised...
