With the right kernel, yes.
But a better way is to install Ubuntu 20.04 LTS (or other Linux variants) and use 1.2 Alpha4, which is stable.

My understanding is that as long as it has a Linux Kernel 3.3 or higher and a modern mother board, it should be OK.
