[SOLVED] Roon+ Hqplayer at the same time

Just so I can save some time.. Can you briefly described how Roon and HQPlayer works?

Do you run both of them in a GUI? or one of them is a background process?  

You can just add Hqplayer as an networked audio device in the Roon audio setup. All you need to do is have both open on the same computer, or on the same network.

When you run Roonserver, you just control from Roon running as a remote on a network connected device. Then for Hqplayer, you can just use VNC like you do already. You basically find the settings you like best in HQplayer, then just use Roon for everything after that.
