Sorry for my english, I'm not native and I should explain this better. Really don't want to bother you with stupid ideas, so if it looks too complicated to adopt, just forget about it.
I'm trying Roon in trial mode last few days and was curious if I can use my Musical Fidelity M1clic upnp DAC as a Roon endpoint. I was using it as a squeezebox player thanks upnp/dlna bridge for LMS, but then I found this Sonore UPNP bridge (running on sonicorbiter os?), which can fool Roon to think that upnp device is squeezebox player so it can be used as an endpoint (looks like they have used philipe44's upnp/dlna bridge). Roon squeezebox support works by emulating LMS on Roon core, so they says that LMS should be turned off to prevent squeezebox player connecting to LMS instead of connecting to Roon's emulated LMS.
So my question is, is it possible to recreate what sonore did?
I'm not experienced in this area, so sorry if my explanation looks too idealistic.
here are few links I've found about it:

*edit*
I managed to make it work (partially) by running upnp/dlna bridge on LMS (NAS) and pointing bridged device to Roon IP (Snakeoil). Looks like I missunderstanded how sonoreUPNP bridge works - I think it needs working LMS and Roon server at the same network.
Sorry for wasting your time agent_kith, looks like you can remove this thread :D
