Did you get this working? I've added options to not use version 1 by default (the version with broken security), so it will try to connect with Samba v3 now. Is that the reason why you can't mount windows shares?
 

Yes all good now    Using v3.
The caching problem is partly that there are 7 fields to fill and each has to be just right for things to work. If I change one field and load the others they insert the cached content... not just browser cache but the Snakeoil cached fields.
So 7 fields and 2 caches and anywhere from 28-96 options and finally had to use a rather strange CIFS address...//192.168.xxx.xx/Music/    who would have thought that !

What's the resolution of that? 1920x1080? or lower?

Sorry for delay, resolution is 1920x1080. And previous problem with delete button was resolved. My bad, but browser refresh cleared problem.
