Which player are you using?  If it's mpd, would you mind to try upmpdcli in the software tab?

If it doesn't work, please just remove it.  And then follow the official web site https://www.lesbonscomptes.com/upmpdcli/...tml#ubuntu to install again in the cli.

As @hkphantomgtr mentioned, upmpdcli is a UPnP renderer. Also, can enable UPnP rendering in LMS and use Squeezelite as renderer.

MinimServer is also available as a UPnP server.
