I have just finished the music players and music streaming services, and will now focus on how to improve information for someone just starting out with SnakeOil. Your struggles to get it going will be invaluable in guiding my updates. My aim is to make the Wiki the only place needed for a beginner to get SnakeOil running.
1.4.3 has removed a major hurdle, the transferring of the script file to the Ubuntu instance. But there are still issues because we assume a certain level of technical know how. What is the minimum level ? Talk soon...
Just need to finish up some more coding stuffs first. Right now works on Snakeoil has slowed down somewhat as I'm putting up a 1/4 of my time for Snakeoil, while dedicating 3/4 of my time on job hunting...
Not spending time on documentation really help a lot in the overall pace so kudos for volunteering to help out.
