Problems with Squeezlite in 1.3

On both servers I'm running this version of LMS:

Version: 8.3.1 - 1676361197 @ Fri 17 Feb 2023 06:37:09 AM CET.

They work fine with ALL the things running squeezelite in my house except the squeezelite on the machines they are on, all of this since upgrading to 1.3

Are you saying,  just install that .deb over the top of the current LMS on one of those machines?

ok, I see.   I thought 8.1 was the newest, ----   just installed your version,   I see it's V 8.3.2~1702911674

Rebooting,  and going to test.  Be back with updates soon.

OK ... SO on the server running ubuntu 20.04   I have installed the current LMS as suggested.   But the problem seems still with squeezelite.   THE REST interface shows for a min or so that It runs,  then displays it's not running:



in the log I get-

also ... I should add this has all been on te amd64  versions ... not ras-pi
