That's encouraging. I had problems with the alpha versions on the RPi 5.
One more thing to try when I get back home
So I followed snoopy's (?) directions on building a reatime kernel. With the pi 5 it too less than an hour. After I tried out the kernel I connected a shitz modi3 dac and used the usb connection. I didnt know how it would work but it was a snap
