I installed this latest version and I'm not sure if this is linked to your comment in the original post:
This will mostly work, but you may not be able to install some of the advanced players like HQplayer, JRiver, and so on.
but I have an issue now where Snakeoil doesn't see Jriver at all. When I use VNC viewer I can see that Jriver is running, I just can't manipulate it from Snakeoil at all.
Also, it seems a lot flakier in that the OS will often look like it's trying to load and never quite get there, although Jriver seems to work fine. Do you think this is something I've done wrong?
