Raspberry Pi 4 looks interesting.

Just curious if there are any first impressions on the usability of the pi4 yet. I haven't pulled the trigger yet because it involves new power supply, case, etc. I definitely want to do it right when it comes to the PS so it will be a bit of an investment but if the cons outweigh the pros I might hold off a bit. Anyone getting decent results? Or not?

Havn't really tried mine yet. Tried to power up with the existing microSD card and it doesn't work (will figure that out later).

This means Snakeoil OS will not boot on Pi 4 just yet (without an update).

But when I tried booting up a stock Noobs OS, the results are pretty impressive. It feels like a low power PC and very responsive... Power wise I'm just going to feed it 2.1 VDC (Not complaining yet) for now. Because I'm not going to run any CPU intensive stuffs (yet) and/or connect any additional peripherals I hope that will be enough.

Once I get my existing Pi4 up and running I'm going to run a cyclic test, and also network throughput test. These are crude, but will at least tell us how suitable this Pi4 is for music playback.
