Introduction
One step closer to 1.2.0 release! Blind Testing Update 8 adds a HTML based file manager that should make it easier to copy files to your RAM disk. Decided to just forego release-upgrade in the WebApp for now as just cannot get this to work reliably. Will write up a Wiki no how to do this. This is a pretty big update so hopefully all will be good.
Releasing this early so I have enough time to fix any problems before Christmas. I'll be spending my time in Hong Kong and Taiwan this Decemeber, so until then, happy listening!

Need to finish up some blog/wiki articles first, once that is done will probably work on RPi4, as well as the new ISO for the official Gear Isolation 1.2.0 images. (This is when RPi4 image will be made available).

(This is when RPi4 image will be made available). No biggie. Gives me something to look forward to after my Shanti arrives. Can't wait for that to be honest. None of the distros sound as good as Snakeoil on pi3 so I'm assuming the same for pi4.
In case your wondering, with the normal Canakit power supply the pi4 sounds pretty thin on most software and seriously lacks decent imaging, even on picoreplayer, which sounded excellent on pi3 with a very modest but upgraded supply. But, the loading and overall operating speed are noticeable to say the least!
Something about the timing of Snakeoil OS just makes music sound so natural. I hope the same can be replicated on pi4 because as of now, I'm suffering from partial buyer's remorse

There are three firmwares each for a different architecture....the first is for ARM-raspberry pi
The second is for older x86 computers and the third in the list is for more modern computers.
From other posts of yours I think you need the third one.
Try and see...

So, been couple days of this now. Anybody tried the file manager and the RAM copy function? Any comments, feedback? Is this a sound improvement, or not?
