I followed this https://www.hifiberry.com/docs/software/...ux-3-18-x/
and edited "/boot/firmware/config.txt", then the hat works.

@ agent_kith
You should think about creating a snakeoil pi streamer product and sell it through schiit audio on consignment. I bet they would consider it. Think pi2aes audiophile grade pi with a user friendly plug n play snakeoil os that has some tweaking options plus the kernel builder. You could use their proprietary unison usb platform for output.💰 🤑 💸 💲

To be honest I'm just doing this project to share to everybody just how good Linux playback can be, not really in it to make money. However, seeing I'm currently without a job at the moment, this is worth considering. Schitt if you're reading this let's talk.

One of the founders, Jason Stoddard, is very active on his headfi thread. He will respond to direct messages. At the very least, you could bring some awareness to the benefits of snakeoil.

Quote:And if this helps:
sudo systemctl status snakeoil-rest.service
● snakeoil-rest.service - Snakeoil RestAPI server
Loaded: loaded (/etc/systemd/system/snakeoil-rest.service; enabled; preset: enabled)
Active: activating (auto-restart) (Result: exit-code) since Wed 2025-03-19 10:03:47 GMT; 54ms ago
Process: 2310 ExecStart=/usr/local/bin/snakeoil-server.sh (code=exited, status=1/FAILURE)
Main PID: 2310 (code=exited, status=1/FAILURE)
CPU: 8ms
Is there any text after this?
There should be log information at the end of the status command and hopefully that should hopefully say what's happening.
No - nothing - no text - just the command prompt
