ALSA settings
#1
So I've been fighting with the Web Server but having a blast with LMS and the new (to me) Material THeme on LMS.     Everything is working brilliantly feeding various players across my system.  My Main issue for the time being is that my ALSA settings are stuck at 50% on the machine running my snakeoil server.  WHenever I mess with it, either through an amixer command or from alsa mixer,  the volume increases for about 5 secs and then resets itself to 50%

I assume I can adjust this from the REST Server interface,  but for the time being, without it,  I'm stuck at 50% on this machine.

Where is this particular default for ALSA set that it's overriding my amixer command and alsamixer?

THanks

Try and adjust volume from the LMS web pages? Perhaps the new material theme is forcing ALSA volume setting somehow.

yeah,  that was the first thing I thought/tried.  In LMS volume is at 100%.

Pretty finicky

feel like if I can get the snake oil interface working the answer is in the sound card settings.  Ami I completely off target here?

Not entirely sure what the issue is atm. What about MPD? Do you experience the same issue?
