Good!....I mean, that it is happening to you too so not just my hardware.... Smile
If it is any help I am getting intermittant problems on boot with "No LMS found on your system" message in the  software control box.
This is fixed with a reboot.

Your computer may just be a tad slower than expected. When you see that message, wait for about 2 minutes then do a browser refresh.

Do you see LMS shown as started now? If you don't, please generate a diagnostics file and send it to me via email (agent_kith AT snakeoil-os.net).

Moving this to the Technical support section as this is a bug.

The ticket to the auto resume problem is here: Link. More updates will follow.

The ACPI power button should already be working. But different computers have different ACPI quirks, the next best thing is simply to shut down from the web app.

Hopefully in the future I will finish the web-app revamp to make this easier.

I've done some changes in 0.9.x and hopefully that will fix it. But havn't tested it yet. Still not working in the 0.9.x series I assume?

Hopefully i'd look into this more later this week.

Sadly not... shutdown, unplug, with stream playing...... restart and have to navigate to stream and start play in LMS.

I did some tests. So far this seems to be a Logitech Media Server problem. If LMS is running (say if you're using a 2 PC setup),  then restarting Squeezelite will auto resume play.

But if you restart LMS, even when squeezelite is playing, the music will stop. It seems that LMS cannot remember the state of the players after a stop/start sequence. Googled this and this used to work way back until around 2014.. So it's a 3 year old bug.

One way to work around this (as I don't like to modify existing people's code) is to write a SnakeoilOS remote client, read the LMS database for players with auto-resume, and hit play automatically. [Image: admire.gif] This seems like the only way for now. Unless you can find on the Internet for a patch to fix this bug.

In other words, as we are in a RC feature freeze, remote functionality (and in extension auto-resume) will not make it's way into 1.0.0. But when the remote feature is added in, so will this auto-resume issue.

Found these references for squeezelite auto-resume/start for raspberry pi.
Maybe there is something of use there ? (I see auto-resume to-do is still open for 1.0 )

Thanks for that, it's going along the same way as the workaround described above. The auto-resume feature I'm doing will hopefully honour the LMS setting (instead of always resume play).

This will form part of the universal remote control. Still working on the details, but this will definitely be included in 1.1.0 (Roadmap work in progress)
