Until AK decides to add this to 1.4.x, you will have to manually follow those instructions.

Please note that it also says this

It is not officially supported by Tidal, and may just stop to work one day…​

If you want to use a stable Tidal service with upmpdcli, I recommend using LMS as the server.  Please see upmpdcli Wiki for setup.
