This setup works great:

SnakeOil = Version: 1.1.7 / OS: Ubuntu 16.04.6 LTS / Kernel: 4.4.9-rt17-snakeoil-x64
MB = Asus P8H77-I
CPU = Intel Core I3-2100T
SSD = Intel 545S 128GB
RAM = Kingston KVR1333D3N9K2/8G (2x4GB)
Case:
- HDPlex H3.S
- HDPlex Linear PSU
- HDPlex Hi-Fi DC-ATX
Music Player/Server = JRiver MC 25
- Setting = Bitstreaming (Plays DSD to the Primare PRE35 DAC (via DoP))
USB cable = The Chord Company Shawline USB
USB regenerator = UpTone USB Regen + UltraCap LPS-1
Ethernet Cable = Chord Company Shawline Streaming
Ethernet Isolator = Acoustic Revive RLI-1 LAN Isolator
DAC (Pre Amplifier) = Primare PRE35 Prisma
