Can you try and change /etc/systemd/system/snakeoil-rest.service to this?

Changed and problem still there. And same problem on Pi5.   I could also try the CM4?  But given I can reproduce the problem consistently, the issue is not likely the NUC (NIC is Intel i219-LM GbE), nor my network.  The Synology NAS may be a factor, but it is one of the most popular NAS around, so other users will likely encounter this. The main suspect is still Ubuntu 24.04 and how it starts up the network.  Does work with Ubuntu 22.04 on NUC (and if required, will test on Pi5).
 

Error installing upmpdcli

This looks like an error upstream (probably an issue with the AU mirror).. Or an error in downloading. Likely to fix itself eventually? How reliable is your Internet? Should be good?

Does not install on NUC but installs on Pi5.  But on Pi5, no field to define output in Music Player.

Strange, liblua seems to be missing. Will looking into this. Overall I guess this is probably as good as it gets, will fix this, and more or less ready to release High End officially.

And something to add for LMS.  If user installs material skin, the Remote on SO should point to material skin, not standard web interface.
