Deadbeef and Spotify installed on Ubuntu - how to access via Snakeoil - Devgcl - 08-Mar-2023 Hi, I managed to install Deadbeef player and Snakeoil directly in Ubuntu through ssh. I can play Deadbeef via an XServer GUI. Is there a way I can get Snakeoil to access those installed software as available players? Note: I cant get those players installed via Snakeoil software install. Thanks RE: Deadbeef and Spotify installed on Ubentu - how to access via Snakeoil - hkphantomgtr - 08-Mar-2023 (08-Mar-2023, 04:35 PM)Devgcl Wrote: Hi, how about MPD? Can u install that in Snakeoil? RE: Deadbeef and Spotify installed on Ubentu - how to access via Snakeoil - Devgcl - 08-Mar-2023 Yeah MPD and UNMPDCLI installs work fine. I just discovered Deadbeef sound and kind of like it. Hence I wanted to play with it more....Via Snakoil would be way easier than calling through Ubuntu backend RE: Deadbeef and Spotify installed on Ubuntu - how to access via Snakeoil - agent_kith - 09-Mar-2023 Deadbeef should work. Go to the Snakeoil software page, and click on deadbeef, it should install and you should get an entry in the music player.
