Discussed here: https://www.snakeoil-os.net/forums/Thread-split-Real-Time-Kernels-discussion There're still some custom tweaks/mods one can make, but having a stock RT kernel is already a great step forward. This will give a different sound signature compared to stock kernel, or a low latency one. The question is to decide which is "better"... RT kernels can actually sound worse in some cases (music choice) and different Linux kernel version can also influence the sound. It's a can of worms really ![]() |
