after reboot no dac - Tecko - 17-Nov-2022
After reboot system the connection to the dac player goes wrong. When I restart radio or other networkstream the DAC disconnects. In system settings the squeezelite is than off. When I first play a local file after reboot everything works normally.

Please provide more details of your setup including version of LMS and Squeezelite and what DAC you are using. Suspect problem is with LMS radio or some other plugin ?

Yes radio plugin. LMS Version: 8.4.0 - 1668592640 @ Wed 16 Nov 2022

Have you tried the following:
- Disable radio plugin
- Different version of Squeezelite
- Older version of LMS
- Different DSD setting of Squeezelite on SnakeOil

no I only updated LMS and squeezelite. Difficult to troubleshoot then. Maybe I have to post it on slimline forum?

Would not surprise me if this was a plugin compatibility with LMS and/or Squeezelite. Are you able to go back to previous versions?

I am going to try to uninstall current versions If that not works I have to reinstall snakeoil.
I did reinstall. Then no problems I think the problem was lms 8.4 latest update. So no more beta's for me
though I solved but problem is still there. I am troubleshoting it now. Remove radio plugin/ reboot etc. It is not the radio plugin because it still happening when delited. It is also not lms or squeezelite.

What happens if you:
1. Completely power down the PC for 10 seconds and power it back on again?
2. Disconnect the USB cable and reconnect after 10 seconds?
Go to the players page, and look at the output devices page. Do you see any output devices?

1) player is still connected. But when I click on a stream (radiotunes for example). Than player disconnect.
2) player still connected. Player disconnect after playing stream.
When I play through Qobuz no problems.

Fixed it. Did a clean install (ubuntu server and snakeoil). Somehow the latest squeezelite was still active. So the problem is latest squeezelite I think.
