MGLRU in Linux - Kjell - 21-Oct-2022 Maybe this is interesting for you who understands it. I don't understand but it was shared by Diretta so it's audio related in some way.. 🤔 https://www.phoronix.com/news/MGLRU-In-Linux-6.1 RE: MGLRU in Linux - agent_kith - 21-Oct-2022 (21-Oct-2022, 02:33 PM)Kjell Wrote: Maybe this is interesting for you who understands it.Kernel development is moving too fast.. 6.0 is just released and now 6.1 is in RC.. This is about memory caching I believe. Not too sure how this relates though to audio quality, did Diretta mention anything on how this is good? Any links from them? RE: MGLRU in Linux - Kjell - 21-Oct-2022 Yes it have something to do with memory caching but as I said I don't know much more, and even if I did I wouldn't understand it software is a total mystery for me. They discuss it here, it also seems to involve RPi 64 bit software wich I find very interesting since I'm the proud owner of a RPi 4 8gb which I want use a 64 bit OS in, Snakeoil of course. Forgot to attach the link, sorry... https://help.diretta.link/en/support/login |
