mympd not working, fresh install 20.04/1.2.0 - Snoopy8 - 14-May-2021 Fresh install on Intel NUC with 20.04/1.2.0 mympd was showing message "mpd disconnected". Mpd host was showing /run/mpd/socket and managed to get working using ip address. However, after trying /localhost or localhost, or something else??? lost all connection. Firefox now showing "Unable to connect". How do I re-install mympd or fix the mpd.conf ? ** added mympd installs with host as /run/mpd/socket and will not work. Need to change to 127.0.0.1 (quickly, otherwise mympd will overwrite it). I suspect I accidentally deleted the password? (resolved using fresh install of everything!) RE: mympd not working, fresh install 20.04/1.2.0 - agent_kith - 15-May-2021 Apologies for that.. Things are still a bit quirky as the old UI is getting a bit old in the tooth. Hopefully the new UI will improve this - as in, allow you to modify mpd.conf (and other config files, like mympd.conf)... that will seamlessly track across different versions.. Still a pie in the sky idea at the moment, but hopefully it'll work. |
