[SOLVED] MPD Web App - Printable Version

MPD Web App - Steely - 16-Nov-2017

Hi,

Having trouble connecting to the MPD web app, When I click on Client175 my browser page does not show the web based client, it just says web page cannot be found.

At the moment I am using Sqeezelight & Logitech media server, this works fine, & I can access it through LMS web.

I am also trying to use MPDroid, but this does not connect either.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, As I would like to try MPD.

I am using a Mac & Safari

Interesting. You are using Snakeoil 1.0.6 yes? From the music players menu, can you confirm if MPD is running? It's running if you get a text saying PID and then a random number.

I'd see if I can find out the problem later this weekend.

I am using Snakeoil 1.0.6
I am getting
Server: Running: (PID: 1138)
Client: Not Applicable
Remote Control: Client 175

But still getting Safari can't open the page

No problems Tony, it's the buisy season after all. Do you mind cut and pasting the Client175 URL for me to have a look? Suspect the problem is there. If you can subsitute the server part of the url with your IP address, does it work?

Yeah, as suspected it's a bug.. The WebApp did not filter out the IPv6 address properly. Hence the problem. Thanks for letting me know about this. I'd logged this as an issue and release a new firmware with a fix.

Will let you know when it's ready (hopefully at the end of the week)

Steely, this should be fiixed in v1.0.7. If it's still not working for you, please send me the URL or a screenshot like the above so I can find a better approach.
