adding webradios in client 175... ? - Bromf - 14-Dec-2016

Beginner here... I can add and listen to webradio stations using LMS but when I switch to Client 175 and mpd I can only play local files.
There must be some way to add streams surely.... but I cant find it...
Any pointers much appreciated.

Thanks
Bob

All default variants of MPD have curl disabled. So it's not supported unfortunately.

i.e. Streams like the following will not work:
Code:
http://something.com:9999

I'd see if I can do a custom MPD (curl edition) so you (and other people) can add to their Snakeoil if they want this feature... When ready the easiest way to do so is to use a playlist.. Have all your favourite streaming stations in a playlist, and then just pick the stream to play.

Will let you know when it's done.

Gotta first figure out a strategy to prevent/delay the DOS attack from earlier this week from happening again. Undecided
