Using Squeezelite v2 (& LMS 9 on Intel NUC), able to play music.Filed an issue on this so I don't forget this. The Pi5 is a far easier platform for newcomers to get into SO. Once the issue of LMS 9.0 is fixed, I will do another promotion. Can you confirm you're also getting the same issue of LMS on this? I've only tried 24.04 LTS server. Even manually installing the missing perl modules didn't seem to fix this. (29-Dec-2024, 01:08 AM)uglymusic Wrote: I was just about to try 1.4 on my RPi 5. If LMS isn't working, I'll put that aside for the momentYeah unfortunately have to set aside that for the moment. Pi5 does have potential though, especially if you put in a CM5 into some fantastic hardware this could make an excellent platform. At this stage LMS support for RPi will be addressed in 1.4.1 bar some miracle. But technically you can still install LMS9 manually, even though I doubt it will work - as it didn't work for me. Good thing is I don't have to do Drupal for now as Drupal is releasing a new product drupal-cms in mid Jan next year. Hopefully can focus on getting LMS9 to work on Raspberry Pi until then. This means official release of High End will be delayed to mid Jan rather than first of Jan. It is what it is. |
