@Peter_F What player are you using? Looks like you set your player to "repeat track", this means the player will keep playing the song you selected. Look around your media player remote control for anything that loops like a loop and turn that off. That should get your player working normally again.

It seems I'm using version 12.9 (Gear Isolation U9) with an update option 1.2.13 available. I clicked on the update link and took me to a world of despair and language I don't understand.
Currently using OS Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS.
I haven't changed any settings including "repeat track". I had look at the settings in Squeezer on the tablet and couldn't find any settings or options to turn it off.
