Show me the output of that, as well as the screen cap of the USB panel again.

If everything works as expected, you should see the following after running the above command,

Current status for hub 2-1 [8087:8000 Blah blah]
  Port 1: 0100 power
Sent power off request
New status for hub 2-1 [8087:8000 Blah blah]
  Port 1: 0000 off

And the first item in the USB list should be unticked.  

That's exactly the same as your expectation. And all the ticks will be back again after reboot. Tongue
