Thanks a lot, I will wait maybe 1 or 2 weeks before testing this solution, because I am not used to the sound right now. It sound really really good with this configuration, so just to be sure to not dowgrade my situation. For the switch, I use a netgear GS108 with ifi ipower 12v PSU (with Active Noise Cancellation). So, in your opinion, when Innuos (the Zenith mkII music server use the same motherboard) say :«Ultra-low Noise Streamer Output Dual-ethernet ports with isolation transformers on Ethernet ports significantly improve sound quality on streamers when compared to a direct router connection.»It because they test on a switch or a rooter with a noisy SMPS? Or they have tweak the thing with an another solution... So, I'll get back to you with my impressions of the bridge ! Thank again and good morning ![]() BOB RE: Using both Lan port on Intel I210-AT, one in the switch and the other in the Streamer - agent_kith - 10-May-2019 (10-May-2019, 08:21 AM)bobzy Wrote: Thanks a lot, I will wait maybe 1 or 2 weeks before testing this solution, because I am not used to the sound right now. There are too many variables involved. Hence Snakeoil - we provide you everything we can think of that influences the sound, and you apply them and find the best fit. Whatever solution Innuos comes up with, it'll only fir in their sound room/test lab, etc. That may or may not apply at your place. What is your suggestion ![]() For the bridge, I had cannot wait no longer, so I just finishing to setup and it work :-). And for the sound, it seem more warm and less clinical, but the bass seem a bit less tight. Anyway, I need to test this for some days and back to my previous setup to see really the difference between the two. Thank again, and good morning again ! Stay tune ! What is your suggestionGood question. I don't know yet what switch to recommend, yet. Hopefully in time I wll know more. As to why I don't like netgear, not entirely sure who to blame, it's either netgear or cisco.. The two just don't interoperate well with each other.
