You will need to activate your SnakeOil instance by donating.  After that, you will have access to Test Builds sub forum where 1.3 Alpha builds are.

By definition, Alpha builds are experimental and will have bugs. If you are not comfortable with this, then wait for Beta where most of the bugs have been found.

For you maybe will be better to try with  Snakeoil Installer- 1.2.6 (Gear Isolation U6)
First install Raspbian OS Buster Lite 32bit Gnu/Linux 10 armv71 (2022.) Kernel 5.10.103-v71 and after that snakeoil-installer-armv7l-1.2.6.sh . Use wiki (https://www.snakeoil-os.net/wiki/Installation/installer-shell#Raspberry_Pi_Raspbian) and forum search .
