Pls. excuse for few IT layman questions.
1) I noticed the default cpuset setting is 1 core for system and the rest cores for users.  May I know, let say only using MPD, THEORETICALLY, is this practice better than using 1 core for users and the rest cores for system?

2) Recent years I use Roon Server and Roon Bridge only, cpuset tell me there is no "user" , thus refuse to work.  May I know is that normal?

Any help will be highly appreciated. Shy

I have 2 cores for system and 2 cores user (music player).  Have a look at the load on the system using Top and it will give you a good idea where the load should be spread.

As for Roon, probably a bug that AK needs to at?

Thanks, let me see.

I think I've just figured out why Roon server is not listed as user.  It's because I didn't set it as player under the tab "music player".
